I’m Still Here

4242472304 7065bee2ea Im Still Here

Today I got an e-mail from one of my readers saying, “Where are you? Did you forget about us?”

Dear readers, how could I have forgotten about you? Of course I didn’t forget about you. Life over the past couple of weeks has been especially busy for me, and I am still trying to get settled into this new year.

I’ve been trying my hardest to complete my goals, I’ve been trying not to write “2009” whenever I write the date, and I’ve been trying to make a schedule that I would actually be able to stick to. I have also been trying my hardest to stick to my 365 day photo project on Flickr. So far, all is well!

2010 will be the year that I graduate high school and go off the college, the year where I know that I’ll have to be my strongest because every force of nature will try to brutally pull me down, just as I was pulled down these past few years by life-changing events. This year is going to be different. This year, this blog will make its first birthday. Next year, this blog will make its second birthday. The year after that, the blog will make its third birthday.

With obstacles and all, this blog will continue to keep growing and I will continue writing, photographing, and testing new recipes.

Dearest readers, I know it’s seven days overdue, but Happy New Year!

Kamran, I know you will stay in your blogging and even if you don’t blog for quite a while, I’m still here. I still chat with you on twitter so there’s no way, you’re just going to walk away. It’s not you. You have our full support. Happy New Year and have a great year ahead.

Happy New Year! Good luck with all these things you’re doing. A food blog + a 365 day photo project, that’s a lot!! (I know that, I try to do the same… my food blog suffered a lot from that…but that’s ok, I accept it).
And all my good luck wishes for the end of high school and college applications. Do you know what you want to study next year?
Well, even with this busy year, don’t forget to enjoy all these precious moments

Kam, I certainly understand how busy you are and I think most of your readers do so try not to overwhelm yourself with everything you have on your plate that you have to be sure we’re ok. Your blog will go forward and your loyal fans like me will follow you if you write everyday or if you never write again! You are a great inspiration to us all and I think you know how you’ve impacted me so take your time and don’t put undue pressure on yourself. I don’t want to see you burn out, you’re too young for that! LOL!!! Hugs & Kisses to you & your family!

You’ve got a lot on your plate, which is of course a lot to say for a foodie and food writer like yourself! Keep your studies the biggest priority, keep your future in focus, and your supportive readers are there for that reason: to cheer you on for that bright future you have ahead of you!
